Looked just like the photo, did have a smell (maybe just the fabric?) but it seems to have gone away. The packaging was ripped and the rug had a dirty spot (maybe 3x3 inches) from being bare during shipping, but luckily it was folded inside out so it doesn't matter- the spot is on the back! Love it!

I was so impressed with how quickly the rug arrived, how well it was packaged and then when I opened it up, the rug was so much better than I expected. It looked exactly like it’s picture but better and it fits perfectly in the space. Any additional rugs that I need, I will be ordering from here.
